One of your affiliates for this program has devised an elaborate scheme to get people to click here. She (he?) makes them think they are being recruited for a legitimate job, abd that going through this is the first requirement.

Here is the come-on I got after applying for a “job.” Note there has even been a website setup to look like a real employment agency.

“Wow, thanks for the quick reply! I briefly looked over your background and
you would be a great fit for the position. You do not need to file a formal
application, as we automate applications from your resume. The next step is
a brief credit history (necessary for equal opportunity and Sarbanes-Oxley
    compliance).

    To do this:

    1)Go to our website: http://www.jobcrafters.info
    2)Click on ‘Credit Report’
3)Click on the link to go to our third-party credit supplier. Keep in mind,
this report will not be seen by anyone outside of the HR department and will
in no way influence the hiring decision.

Also, if you could let me know your availability I will schedule a brief
(30-minute) first interview, so I can tell you more about the job and find
out if you have any preliminary questions.

    Thanks,
    Christy”

Preying on unemployed job seekers. Real nice.
