Pepperjam Network Launches Pepperjam Store Builder™ – Next Generation Product Feed Technology
UPDATE: Pepperjam Store Builder Update – Customizable Flat File Feeds Now Available
We are excited to announce the official BETA launch of our next generation product feed technology called Pepperjam Store Builder™, which is available exclusively through Pepperjam Network for FREE to all advertisers and affiliates. Can’t wait any longer to see Pepperjam Store Builder™ log-in HERE.
Pepperjam Store Builder™ allows you to quickly and easily manipulate Pepperjam Network product feeds in real-time to build product storefronts on your Web site. You can use Pepperjam Store Builder™ to easily link to specific products, create dedicated product feed Web sites, supplement your existing content or blog, add additional value to your coupon or incentive site, or for just about anything else your imagination will allow.
With Pepperjam Store Builder™ you have access to millions of products from hundreds of Pepperjam Network advertisers. You can automatically create storefronts by selecting any combination of merchants, categories, or keywords. The more merchants and / or categories you select the more products that will be available to your Web site visitors. However, you may also choose to use the Pepperjam Store Builder™ search filter to refine your search to a specific kind or type of product. For instance, you may select CostumeKingdom.com as your merchant, but only want to display “pumpkin” costumes. No problem! Simply use the search filter and type in “pumpkin” to refine the feed to show only the products you want.
You want to know what’s even cooler? Creating a feed is so easy that you can build a storefront for virtually anything in less than 30 seconds and we’ll even show you a LIVE Demo as your building it! All you have to do is create your storefront, copy a small amount of code into your Web site, and voila – you have a fully functional product feed storefront.
Take a look at the screenshot below of Pepperjam Store Builder™. To get working with Pepperjam Store Builder™ immediately simply log-in to your account at www.pepperjamnetwork.com and start generating some feeds.

Very exciting news. I just posted about it a few moments ago (you’ll probably see the trackback soon).
I was curious to see if anything might be fixed in the final release about how URL’s display though. Check out the first post on my blog so you can see what I’m talking about.

Jeff / Collin / Sage / Chris,
Thanks for your positive feedback.
Chris – as I mentioned on your post we have discussed the idea of allowing affiliates to mask the actual affiliate URL and will be addressing this in a future release.
Thanks all!
Kris

Is there an easy way to get it to work with WordPress?
October 23rd, 2008 at 2:25 pm
Thad,
I’m being told by my tech team that what you need to do is place the code using the HTML Editor button that is included within the post secion of WordPress. Don’t just place the code in as if it’s text; instead, click the HTML Editor button and place the code into the post that way.
Let me know if that works.
If not we will provide further assistance.

This is awesome – and why PJ continues to be a leader in affiliate network innovation.
I’m sure integrated it into Wordpress will be easy once you catch your groove. I might do a post or two on building niche sites using Wordpress and PJ Store Builder… I can see that being in demand once the final release hits the market!
Great job guys!

I love the feature but I’ve been unsuccessful so far in adding a store to my wordpress blog. I inserted the code by using the HTML tab as recommended above. Anybody have luck installing via wordpress?

Nevermind, it works now. Thanks a ton. This is a great feature.

It’s a great tool and I hope that it will help the merchants realize how important good descriptions are for their products. That way the affiliates can actually filter and get EXACTLY what they want to promote. One of my sites promotes Plus Size apparel for women, for example, but the feeds don’t always include the word “plus ” or “plus size”.
The tool will be even better with good up-to-date feeds!

Great tool.
However, are there any plans to make the store spiderable by search engines?
