If you’re selling a lot of items then you need to aim to keep your listing fees down. An easy way to do this is hosting your Ebay pictures yourself. If you have already had website then devote some of your hosting space to your listing pictures. For those that don’t have their own web site check to see if you have free space provided by your Internet service provider. If you don’t have any free web space you can use then consider buying your own domain name and web hosting. It doesn’t need to be expensive the very basic package is all you will need.

Look for Ideas in the Strangest of Places. We needed pictures of our new dog design cufflinks and wanted something special, with a luxury feel. We scan most of our products by placing them directly onto the scanner bed but find the scanner lid makes an unattractive backing for most items. We needed something different, colorful, a background to emphasize the quality of these lovely gold plated items. We tried velvet pads from jeweler’s boxes, plain paper, hankies, nothing worked. Then we tried Marks & Spencer’s silk lilac undies, they worked for a treat. The lilac looked wonderful against the gold and the silk wrapped delicately around the cufflinks without creasing. Better still, using that background for all of our jeweler lets regular customers spot ours among thousands of competing listings.

You should not think if an item goes to unsold first time round that nobody wants it. Many times I’ve had items that failed to attract even one visitor but achieved multiple bids and high profits on second or third appearance. EBay is a fast changing marketplace with new members appearing daily and many more categories to list previously unsold goods. See the next tip.

Code ID is actually affiliate ID from pepperjam network (an number actually) on the right corner of the top of the peperjam page

so where do i get the code ID on the pepperjamnetwork site that will allow me ito insert that code ID into the phpbay pro plugin inside the wordpress admin? i am kinda lost.

i have the pepperjam account and am signed up for the ebay affiliate program on pepperjam (accepted already).

just don’t know where to find the correct code ID.

also, can i set up different codes ID’s for different web sites i add or do all my web sites have to use the same code ID?

any help will be appreciated.

Pepperjam has a dedicated team of eBay program managers in place to assist you with maximizing your eBay affiliate revenue.

Among other tools for eBay and other PJN advertisers Pepperjam Network allows you to serve pepperjamADS, which is a contextual affiliate marketing widget. This ads a revenue producing source that eBay doesn’t offer.

Through its most recent version phpBay already works with the eBay program on Pepperjam Network. However, I believe you have to update your version to phpBay Pro 3.0.1 for Wordpress.

How is the eBay program via PJN different from just going direct to eBay? Also, if I’m already using PHPBay, can it be modded to work w/ PJN links?
