[…] In the past I have mentioned that Pepper Jam Network is really the future of affiliate marketing but it will take time to get a lot of advertisers. After few months they have been adding many major advertisers in their network and today I read on the main blog about this announcement: Pepperjam Partners with eBay Partner Network I would like to congratulate Pepperjam for the quality of work that they are doing and also would like to congratulate about this new partner eBay, when this year they created their own in-house affiliate program and they get out from Commission Juction the biggest and the oldest affiliate network. We are proud to announce that Pepperjam has officially partnered with the eBay Partner Network to bring eBay’s links and graphics to Pepperjam’s affiliates at www.pepperjamnetwork.com […]

Congratulations PepperJam Team! This is amazing because ebay created this year their own in-house affiliate program and they got out from CJ (few months ago).

That is so cool. Being an Ebay fan anyway, this is a seriously awesome idea. I only hope I’m accepted. LOL
Thanks again, Kris. It’s nice to know that there’s an affiliate program that really does work for it’s members.

Christine,
Thanks!
Have you applied yet? Our team is reviewing applications right now. As you could imagine, we had several hundred people apply within the first few hours of the announcement (and tons more after that) so we are going through right now to review applications.
Priority will be given to 3, 4, and 5 bar transparency affiliates so hopefully you are in that grouping - if not e-mail us and we’ll work with you to improve your transparency rating!

[…] Newbie network Pepperjam has partnered with the eBay Partner Network, which is very interesting considering that eBay made a huge departure from Commission Junction to be on their own at the beginning of this quarter. It makes me ponder if this is a result of the PJ vs. CJ tussle from back in March. […]

Hi Kris,
When we first joined pepperjamnetwork we had 4 star transparency and now we got 2. The only reason that was given is that the address was wrong but at the end all checks was successfully deposited in our bank account. Now my question how can we get back to 4 stars now that pepperjam network team know about the verification address, even better we would like 5 stars.

I had ebay as one of my advertisers on CJ. I hope I am accepted. I love promoting them! I submitted my appplication. Not sure what transparency level I am as I recently moved my site to a new host. I sure hope I am approved quickly so I can fix all of my current links.
I look forward to working with PJ.

Well, thats a great news, I have been talking about the EPN success or failure, as e know we have had more success with CJ, but EPN results are not as good as CJ.
I am accepted here and hopefully the tracking is more accurate here than EPN.
good luck PJ and everyone who were with CJ and now here
..
regards

I guess I’m confused. What’s the point of signing up with the EPN via Pepperjam instead of just signing up directly wiht EPN?
Isn’t EPN the “real” affiliate management for eBay now that they’ve left CJ? And if so, isn’t Pepperjam merely an eBay “affiliate,” making people who join through Pepperjam sort of eBay “sub affiliates”?
What’s the significance of the relationship here? Why am I not just as well off joining EPN directly?
I’m truly puzzled about this. I don’t see Pepperjam offering benefits I can’t get by my direct membership via EPN?
Thanks for your clarification!
